Re: Score for Apple Card

I received my apple card over the summer and they pulled Transunion which was 615 at the time. They gave me an initial credit limit of 750k I called the back door number and said I wanted the mac book pro and they gave me 1500. She just asked me what was my annual income and if I planned on paying it off before a year. LOL.

750k ?? What did you tell  them you were buying? An apple store franchise?  Smiley Happy  j/k

The CL is highly dependant on the income which makes sense. I actually planned on getting 2 mac book pro and PIF before the statement.

Wonder if I can get them to give me 5k

Soo, 6 inqs is too much right, to apply?

Let me put it to you this way...I called Apple/Barclay yesterday to verify what the other rep told me. A completely different rep told me if I lay off the apps for the next 6 months and re-apply, I'll get somewhere from $2,000-2,500 when I apply again. I asked if there was anything else that was factoring into the decision...she said no. BTW, I have 6 inqs as well.

In my wallet: Local Credit Union $25,000, Northwest Bank VISA $25,000, AMEX BCP $15,000

LOL LOL okay I definitely didn't mean 750k LOL ... but could you imagine? LOL .. But nonetheless I was surprised I got the 750 and when she Recon'd for 1500 I was well satisfied. I really did just want a computer and that's it .... The PC i had was dying asap! lol .. So it was totally a blessing. ..

Re: Score for Apple Card

I had around a 720 fico when I applied at the Apple store last year - no recent inquiries, 37% debt to credit and around 50k salary and got "approved" for a whopping $500.  The only reason I applied for the card was to purchase an iMac interest free for a year, and they didn't give me enough to get interest free (or maybe it was 6 months if under $500).  I called the backdoor number, and they didn't raise my limit.  Sad face.

Starting Score: 557 (2005)
Current Score: 803
Goal Score: 805
