Are we only talking about the Apple Card or itunes Card as well?

I was talking about the Apple Financing card. I would assume the iTunes card carries a slightly stricter set of requirements, but I can't be sure. I didn't apply for it. Wouldn't mind a PC though, i spend a ridiculous amount of money on iTunes.
I have no baddies, a 683 TU (from here) and my oldest CC account is 8 years old, youngest about 2 years old. My util is low. I apped last night and it was denied. ??? Should I recon?
@Anonymous wrote:Just applied today with a TU score around 620, was denied but called back door number and after talking to a very nice lady for 10 minutes, was approved for $1400 that I said I was using to purchase a macbook. Have 5 negatives (4 of which are falling off in the next 6 months) 7 INQ, UTL 8%.
This wraps up a very positive 24 hours
Barclay/Apple $1400
Discover $1000
Jareds $4000

With that FICO, I'd give it a shot. However, be aware of the following:
How many inquiries do you have? If you have a bunch, be ready to explain them because they'll probably ask.
Also, if it sounds like they're wavering on approving you on recon, it helps to give them an idea of what you plan to buy with it and that you'd like to be able to take advantage of the deferred-interest option before PIF (they usually ask how much you need for a limit...and telling them a specific item with an approx price shows intent to use...something they're looking for before approval, but not after approval...don't ask me why!)...they seem to be open to recon approvals given that parameter.
Let us know how it goes!
Just 3 inq in the past 2 months (mortgage shopping) and none for the past 2 years. We just closed on our home. I wanted to get an iPad but I don't know if it's worth going through the hassle. I could just use my other credit card to buy or cash. Hmm decisions decisions.

Maybe this will help...6 months no interest on Apple purchases under $999 and 12 mo no interest over $999 ![]()
They have also been known to toss around some fat CLs...even for peope who recon...just ask Smug from this forum...that dude got like $9,000 on a Barclay recon ![]()
Smug also has FICO's above 700 so that helps a lot ![]()

Decided against it. I'm not going to get credit just for the sake of getting credit. I have other ways to buy my iPad so no biggie. Thanks for the advice!
