Hi Flipper
Because of the tightening of credit, I really would advise you to pay down the us bank card to 1-9% and try to write goodwill letters for your lates and CO's.
If you have any unpaid CO or collections, I would try to PFD.
I think you should first try to clean up your report as much as you can and then apply for this card. Try to put yourself in the best possible position. This will also increase your score.
Hope this helps and keep us updated
Hi Flipper
I know the Sears card is back by Citi. I do not have the card but i know Citi usually pulls EX in my neighborhood.
I am located in NYC. I have read that Sears CC is somewhat of a hard card to get.
I think you can also do a search on here for Sears CC.
What is your limit and balance on the usbank card?
What are your prior baddies? Citi is not BK friendly.
Give us some more details so we can help you.
No BK.
US is $3k
Other Derog's are 2-3 charge off's that were originally CO but later paid and multiple 30-60's from prior April 2006.
Most recent late is 14 months ago and one prior to that is 20 months ago.

Thanks Oracles!
US Bank will be paid to under 9% by next week. Thanks Uncle Sam for giving me my money back!
There are no outstanding CO's or collections and CR's show no collection accounts.
What is a PFD?
How would you recommend handling the GW letters? Content, etc.
PFD = Pay for Deletion, however you have paid all accounts and can not take advantage of this. Congrats BTW
I would do a search on here with the search terms GW letters, also go to the rebuilding credit forum and ask if someone has recent examples of GW letters that have been successful.
I just did a search for you, go to this thread and scroll down to examples of GW letters
Hope this helps and keep us updated
