No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I would look into Discover, Bank of America, Citibank, and TD Bank (if you live in their service area). Their secured cards graduate and approval is easy for folks with no credit. Another option is State Department Federal Credit Union. Their secured card has the best rates and no fees. It also graduates. Good luck and keep us posted.

I know Amex doesn't offer secure cards,
what cards aside from chase you recommend to open?
BOFA, Citi Group, and wells fargo are good enough?
Like me lol. Discover approved me with no credit score or history. I'm a blank page. I have one collection account that's 6 yrs old and will drop off 4/2023. However, my bank, BoA, denied me yesterday for their basic secured card. I'm waiting on the letter for their reason for denial and I plan on calling them to reconsider. I applied for capital one platinum secured card today and they told me they will review it and get back to me within 7-10 days. I opened a self credit builder account to mix my credit file and add installment history. Hopefully capital one approves me I should be fine with 2 cards and a installment builder. Although I really wanted a 3rd card but BoA is being weird.
