I just did a product change to a GoRewards card. I did not ask for a CLI. So is a $5k GoRewards card a signature card? I should be getting a nice FICO boost in a week or so and may do something then depending.
I will continue to monitor my offers but have not seen that flagship offer since they graduated me. The Amex would be a nice second card for that particular rewards structure. I did rack up $435.00 in rewards on my secured over the last 25 months or so and in doing the product change, they deposited $400 into saving and will be receiving a couple gift cards for the balance. In using the member mall on occasion it seems I netted about 2% cash back on my secured nRewards card. All good!
I am smack dab in the middle of secured / unsecured credit card limbo however with only two revolvers. Wait and try for another unsecured from NFCU or go for another secured at say Apple FCU????
