Mine is 3% fee, 12 months @ 0% APR and I got another offer that ends May 12 for the same thing.

I think it depend ls on scores. Last year  I got an offer for a 4% fee. When Disco first notified me that the fee could change to between 3-5%, I made a mental note right then that I would not apply for any promos on any cards with higher than a 3% fee.

I don't know if it is based on score. I have 2 discover cards, one has 3%fee 12m 0% APR and the other is 4% fee for the 12m 0% APR. Obviously my score is the same for both cards.

They may adjust the fee from time to time to see if it will entice you to bite. Some cardholders will bite only if the fee does not exceed a certain amount.

Possible, however, for me the second discover card has always had a higher BT fee than the first card. Has been that way for more than a year.

Some people like one side of their face better, and some people like one  DISCOVER over another in their wallet. That's odd but at least you have a good DISCOVER and a better DISCOVER lol.

Re: Shocked Discover BT offer back??

Discover use to have on of the better BT's out there with some exceptions of NFCU, etc.. now they are one of the worse along with cutting every benefit, etc..  Kinda a worthless card other then double cash back for first year..  Exceptions are new to credit, rebuilding, etc. then a good card for many.  Once rebuilt or after some credit under belt time to move on to better lenders imho.

Re: Shocked Discover BT offer back??

If you can earn 5%  cash back using their rotating cats,  in my opinion its a very good card because that cash back is in your account at end of statement and very easy to use ie statement credit or straight to your checking.  For those of us who cant get those other lenders, its still a worthwhile lender imhoSmiley Wink
