I logged in to my Orchard Bank account last night and I have been given a $200 CLI...not much, but I was pretty suprised since I assumed this card would be $320 forever. I've had it since May and used it only to pay for my gym membership every month then PIF. Anyway, just thought I'd share.
Congrats! That's a sign your credit is improving.

Just an FYI, Orchard Bank is one of those banks that want to make money with interest. By paying in full each month, they are kind of indifferent about giving you a CLI. Other banks like American Express, Discover, or BofA on the other hand is a bit more picky when it comes to giving someone a CLI and want to see PiF history. Anyways, that's just my opinions. But by paying in full, you are more attractive credit report wise but just don't expect a 10k CL on your Orchard bank account just because you PiF.
I logged in to look at my bill and was pleased to see a CLI, as well. Only went from $500 to $700 but helps my DTI so I'll take what I can get! We are desperate to buy a house before our kids go to college (a 2 yr old and one on the way)! lol....
I've closed my Orchard but when I had them
they gave me a few clis. Unlike HSBC. I had to beg
and pay for the 2 clis I've gotten in 7 years. I guess
I closed the wrong one.![]()
that is shocking i have had one card going on 4yrs and have not got an increase yet. i have had another for 3yrs and no increase. have never been late and pif most of the time and the other times i pay well over the minimum payment. CONGRATS!!!
