Like FinStar, my Chase apps (post-2007 anyway) have all been through "green checkmark" offers due to being LOL/24 or even ROFLMAO/24, although I will be cold-apping for a Marriott Boundless in a few months since I mostly cooled my heels the past 19 months.  If the card makes sense for you, a HP or 2 is a small gamble and it sounds like you have good odds of approval.
