I have one local CU Visa card that I still have open. Its only a $1500 CL and its not the CU that I do busniess with anymore. As a customer 5-6 years ago they pissed me off so I left! Anyways I have another CU Visa from the CU that I park all of my money with still. That card is about 2-3 years old.
I also have a Discover card, CSP, 2 AMX, and a few store cards. So I think I have opened an account with all of the ones I wish to do business with. Now I may wanna add one more Chase card or who knows a BArclay card? Not entirely to sure...
But should I close that card? With that card I got well over $50K worth of credit access. I have 0 util pretty much every month. The CU was nice enough to take a chance with me on my rebuild but I don't use this card for anything. It also leaves 2 CU bank accounts open with no real cash in them. Think it would hurt my score that bad?
Currently all my scores stit between a 740 - 760. (Pending on the month and all of that!)
I can not make a decision! Help!!!!
What would happen to my scores and future credit? 0 baddies, lates and collections. I even bought my house last year! Credit has gone to a place I never thought possible!

See the Closing Credit Cards thread linked in the Helpful Threads sticky. It's up to you to use that info and your subjective considerations to determine whether to close the account or not. I close anything of no use to me but there are those that keep everything possible open.
