Re: Should I keep bugging chase or leave them alone?

My experience getting an Ink cash was it was necessary to call in, no instant approval.

They did a HP on me, but the card does not report on any of my CR's since. The CSR

was only slightly interested in my business income, which is a sideline, my main income

is employment wages. I received a $23.3K CL after a brief chat, which I found to be amazing,

I only legitimately reported $30K in annual business income with about $12K in annual expenses.

Another amazing quirk is I had applied for a Freedom card a couple months earlier and

received a $10K CL on my personal income, which is much higher than just my business

sideline. The Ink cards have a different underwriting department than the Chase personal

cards. My experience was that the Ink has looser standards than the Freedom, YMMV

Re: Should I keep bugging chase or leave them alone?

my company is my main source of income. I do have rental hosues under a sublet and other investment income however. But Company revenue is almost 30 million a year so I figured that should speak for something right? Thankfully we can work on a cash basis but would really like to put that cash spending to good use and earn some points somwhere. So far this year I have been approved for almost everything I applied for personally, but have been shot down by bank of america, barclays, Citi and probably now Chase even though they have been very happy to extend me decent personal limits. Amex is the only one to ever give me company credit, have a platinum and gold with them, but not a lot of suppliers take amex, thats my problem.

Re: Should I keep bugging chase or leave them alone?

Called in, Turned down for to many trade line accounts. I asked if she meant to much revolving credit and she said no, just to many trade lines are open on my personal file. She reccommended (and im not sure what to think of this) closing down any of the cards I havent used in 6 months, and re applying in 6 months. I actually asked if I could re allocate Southwest to Ink and she said no for the same reason. So Im going to wait for the letter and call in again.
