Bank of america is trash and a joke of a company. They will hard pull jusy because the sky is blue and they will close all of your cards if they feel you might get fired

So will Chase, or Citi, or Barclay's.

CapitalOne is pretty safe though..

Chase doesn't HP for CL transfer between cards .. I've done multiple times and not a single HP. I actually brought it as an example for good CS because it is so easy to move credit lines with them .. you can even move your portion of one card to a declined application to get it approved!

Yeah but BoA isn't Chase.  Citi reallocation is difficult, US Bank is impossible regardless of HP or SP.  Comenity....well, forget it.  My point being, yeah it isn't ideal that BoA wants a hard pull for reallocation, at least it's an option.  On the flip side, BoA will happily approve the same credit card (example being Alaska Airlines) over and over with no wait time and give the signup bonus.  Chase makes you wait 24 months from the date the bonus was awarded and have the former card closed.

Every bank has their "thing."  Too bad they all wouldn't backdate like Amex Smiley Happy
