Comenity closed my Sportsman's Guide VISA for non-use, totally my fault for not cycling a small charge thru in 18 months. I had a 14,000 CL. So I want to replace it with another Comenity card so as not to lose the padding for UTI. Should I just reapply for the same card or what other Visas do they offer? I already have Total Rewards and do have a recurring charge hit that one.
Do a search for Comenity SCT Cards, shopping cart trick (visa and mastercard.) There are a lot and you might find a major that fits your spend/lifestyle.
You might qualify for the sct popup and save a hard pull.
Im surprised with your limits you need padding. Picking up another Comenity Visa is an option but i would get another lender if one wanted anorher card. I think the days of Cranberry padding are nearing an end regardless of non usage.
Sorry for the loss of your SGV. You may wish to set up a recurring charge on cards that don't get a lot of use. A streaming channel is assigned to my SGV along with auto pay. Now and then I take this type of card out for a ride and buy a sub or burger.

Sorry for your SGV closure
, I have made it a habit to put spend on every card at least every 6 months,
and some 3-4 months. (of course daily drivers are used every week.)
Even my least favorite store card (I don't have many) gets a recurring Shampoo order every 6 months sent to the house![]()
Yep, My SGV gets an Amazon $5 reload every few months. I picked up this card via SCT in the beginning of my credit journey but now I honestly don't have a use for it anymore...

Sorry about the closure.
With the listed ~$242k of quality card limits, does $14k on Comenity move the needle on any aggregate utilization percentage? I suspect the effect is something less than one FICO 8 point, net net. Change my mind? ![]()
I'd be inclined to thank Comenity for cleaning one of the weaker cards out of my over-stuffed wallet. I also have near 20 cards and aggonize about closing any of them. Keeping them all active is a real challenge in this new age.
