Or possibly, if you're waiting on vendor payments to afford the purchase, put it on a credit card rather than a charge. I couldn't tell you how many times "next week" turned into "a few weeks"
If you don't have the money to cover if the statement cuts tomorrow, put it on a credit card and whether they pay on time or 3 weeks late, you'll be good
