Successfully reduced BOA Cash Rewards Visa Apr

Decided to chat up BOA this am and ask for an apr reduction, the usual answer is no. 

XXXX : Hello XXXXX! How may I assist you with your personal credit card?

XXXXXX : Hi there, could u check on if are any offers to lower my credit card apr?

XXXXX : I can definitely assist you with that. Allow me a moment to access your account.

XXXXX : Thank you!

XXXXX: It does appear we may be able to negotiate a lower APR for you. We will need you to give us a call at 800-###-####.

I gave them a call and a nice lady said we can definitely help you out, lowered my apr from 14.99% to 12.99%.

Congrats! Usually I get the no answer (I have 21.99 on my basspro MC World)! It was easy by phone?

The guy from the online chat gave me the number to call to directly speak with someone and he noted on my account why I was going to be calling. 

The rep. didnt ask me any income questions or anything about my credit profile. She just said I have this offer for u. She also said, while I have you on the phone, would u like me to deposit 5k from your credit card into your checking becuase u have this awesome offer for 0 percent bt or direct deposits for 20 months.

I said, well I dont want my card to be reporting with high utilization. She said, oh thats ok sir we want you to use our card the most and its no problem, thats why we have offered this to you. I was hoping she would offer an a CLI for me but she didnt and I didnt ask. The proces was easy, but man she really wanted to give me 5 k in my checking lol. I said ill have to think about it.
