Suncoast Secured Card

i just found out my brother is a memeber of suncoast schools federal credit union. The largest in my state and 8th largest in the United States.

This means I have an "in" to a local credit union. I'm pretty excited about this as their Secured Visa has no annual fee and a decent APR.

Does anyone have a card or account with them?

Re: Suncoast Secured Card

I just got approved for a checking/savings account with them! Very happy I was lucky enough to have a brother that was already with the credit union. I had no idea he was until I asked him, knowing hes in a union for work that he might be.

I am going to wait until my RZ best buy gold card gets a few months behind it reporting before I apply for it.

Their secured visa has 0 AF, 14.5 APR, 500-5000 limits, earn interests on the cd, also it has a 25 day grace period.

Not bad for a secured card, eh?

Not too shabby. Have you checked with your local CUs? I found only one CU in my area that offered a secured card with no AF. Only requires a small deposit of $350 that goes into a savings account and they will issue a secured card.

Re: Suncoast Secured Card

I checked around and this is the only decent size credit union in my area. So I'm glad that I'm a member. Suncoast is a CU.

I was planning on getting a 500 dollar secured card anyways so its no biggie that it is the minimum.
