I've already called the executive office and left a message. I have a lot of inquiries and just went into a garden mode to help my score. So I was wondering if you guys think it's possible that Citi would switch my Sears card without a hard pull, to Double Cash for instance. I don't know if you're familiar with Huntington bank but they're here in the midwest. They granted me credit without a hard pull but they've been the only creditor to do so that I've dealt with. What do you guys think?
to make it easy for you.the answer is absolutely no. in no case. as it is a co branded card. if you want double cash. you will have to apply like everyone else.two different departments all together. they will not even switch it to best buy. which is another co branded card. they run eq for best buy and tu for sears. have both. so im not making this. up. good luck.
Thank you both for the realistic outlook. I really hate that I have available credit that is pretty much useless to me aside from lowering the overall utilization.
Yeah, I know. I applied for it at the beginning of what became a credit app binge. The Double Cash is just so enticing because it'd pretty much replace my Quicksilver, you know. Just a little disappointed that I applied for it in the first place. Thanks. Live a learn, right?

Eh. I'm not really thrilled with my Double Cash. Given my anemic CL (and my refusal to take another HP to fix that) and my high APR, my QS1 still sees more use than my Double Cash. But then again, much of my spend falls under 2% and 3% categories for my other cards, so I don't feel a huge loss.
As for Sears MC, SD it until you need it for special financing.
@SunriseEarth Lol at anemic CL. Yeah, as I've kept applying for cards it seems my granted limits keep decreasing. I like AMEX the most for that reason. The SP CLIs are the best. Well consider yourself lucky by me at least. I like to pay bills with the Quicksilver but I know the extra .5% would be pretty much nil anyways. BUT STILL!!!

Hold on everyone! You are missing the most important part of the OP's first post. ..

So does Huntington really issue CC without HP? Do they HP for membership or must be a member for app? I haven't looked on creditpulls but if anyone knows?
I was only granted a 1k line with that card and had just opened a checking account with them like a couple months prior. I just think that if I wasn't charged an inquiry for that then it'd be possible to arrange something with CITI because someone somewhere within that company must have my information (for a SP) if Huntington did. Thanks JgodFrey!
