Generally you can reapply after a year.
Barring any major auto CLI I may just close Walmart and/or care credit and just stick with non-store cards for the future. Especially if Walmart is still stuck at $400.
Ok. care credit i understand. but why would you ever close a walmart. the easiest card in america to get a credit limit increase on.
First. if you have had the card any time. over 4 months. credit limit increase time. and every 4 months. but that comes from pushing the luv button. but . if you bypass that altogether. and monday thru friday log in on the website. and go to chat. simply ask them to raise the limit to 5k. they will do it. my walmart is at 5k. i do have a 300 balance on it to get some use. as i bought a pair of glasses from the eye department there. so i will pay it slowly. after im done. i will ask them to raise it to 10k as my fico is now clean. good luck.
@Anonymous wrote:Upon checking my creditkarma account this morning I found that sychrony bank closed my furniture store account for non-usage. Okay, I get that. What i don't get is why they refuse to reopen the account even though they acknowledge the closure was for non-use and not related adverse information from my credit reports. This is a real annoyance on my repair journey.
It costs money to maintain an account, so most accounts will close after inactivity. The timeline widely varies. How long had it been since you had activity on this TL?
