Sync VZW Late Payment affect ona CLI

I have the Sync VZW Visa, initial limit 7,800.  A while back (August 2023 (Account opened August 2022)) I had a late payment by a handfull of days.  I paid the late fee and let it be water under the bridge.  No other late payments or marks on my credit report.  780+ scores.

How long might that late payment affect getting a CLI?

I think you will have to wait for awhile before asking for a CLI. You don't state how long ago the late was.

It would tied to when SYNC removes you from their internal naughty list and 12 months is typical if it were a single late payment, you caught up before the next statement closed (i.e. no reported lates), and there hasn't been a repeat performance.

You can try looking at your statement to see if your current APR is at the penalty rate.  If so, their later resetting to whatever standard rate they deem appropriate for your account is a good, but not always leading, indicator that they think you've probably been punished enough.
