Sync amazon card question

I accepted a promo for a free year of amazon prime and the prime membership will end in approximately 2 months. If I sign up for the sync card and link it to this account, I'll be able to get 5% on amazon. However, after expiration of my prime membership, am I able to unlink the sync amazon card from this amazon account and re-link it to my business account, which i will purchase a year of prime membership for? Or does that not work? I also can't get the chase amazon card since I'm over 5/24. Thanks!

You can choose any payment method at checkout even if you currently have prime and an amazon card (or presumably any other time). I have prime and a store card (which is my primary/default payment method), but often choose other payment methods due to various promotions happening.

I would assume that when your prime membership expires, you can simply choose to a different primary/default payment method and your store card will just be one of your options.
