Re: Synchrony cards

Purpose of thread is to just get a quick recap of what happened without having to read 64 pages. Is my thread considered trolling because I have a 20K card..?

I hear ya.  Same also.  I have been paying all Sync cards in full right now.  Wanted my wood flooring in another month but I think I will skip it.  I think there's more to this than we know.  All who have had their cards closed/locked did nothing wrong.  Should not be an issue as far as credit is concerned.  I hope they know that all the "good" customers are not using their cards and they are losing $$$

And I did check a couple of my bigger accts today again.

Re: Synchrony cards

No issues with my Sync cards, Aamzon $8k, Sams $10k, Lowes $30k - generally PIF every month, escept for Lowes when I'm carrying a low interest "project" balance.

Comenity....don't even go there....

Re: Synchrony cards

I have marvel,TJX,PayPal,and Evine and mine are still checking out ok. I'm not using any of them currently until they settle down a bit. I did have some massive balances report this month so I'm staying clear of them for any reason for right now.

Any consensus as to whom Synchrony is likely to target?

Re: Synchrony cards

I haven't been following this subject so subscribing to see what's going on.  I have three of their cards - Lowes - $17K, Walmart - $15K and JCP at $10K. I'll probably do one more round of CLI requests then be done if I get them or not.   There are months when I don't use the cards and months when they are used often.  Currently taking advantage of a 12 month 0% financing offer on the Walmart card. This is the first time carrying a balance on one of their cards.
