TJX card and Amazon card and AU reporting

My girlfriend added me to her TJX card as an AU. When she did so, they did not ask for my SSN. We are wondering if Synchrony Bank (card issuer) will show up on my report as an AU.

Consequently, she's done the same thing on her Amazon card (Chase?), but I don't recall if they asked for my SSN.

Essentially, she's trying to help me rebuild after my divorce a couple of years ago so I look better to landloards when they run a credit check. We honestly don't use the cards much (the TJX card carries about a $500 bal, payments current and on time all the time...Amazon has less. TJX approx. $2000 CL, Amazon $4000 CL).

Will this give me a boost in my numbers to the bureaus?

I can say, for a fact, that Sync. will report if the address is the same.... I have no clue otherwise though

Re: TJX card and Amazon card and AU reporting

Morning,i have found this with the sycnhrony cards and comenity also. They only ask for name and no other information. Well after 1 month or so it showed up on my sisters credit report. I have no clue how that was done. She lives about 50 miles from me and she has a different last name she has her husbands now.

Maybe i will call and ask. Dont worry it should be fine, they have thier way of doing things. It should show up on your credit report and give you a good boost. For my sister it did so. Good LuckSmiley Wink

I've also changed the address on my bank accounts and other credit cards (first premier and total visa) to reflect hers. I would think that would really ensure the TJX Card gets reported correctly.
