I just decided to check my limit online. They raised it to a 1000.00, i could not believe it. I thought it would stay at 200.00 forever. They sent me a letter about the increase a couple weeks later. I had read somewhere that they were going to discontinue the Target Visa card. Don't know how true that is. They are still offering it on their website.
This is now on the website "

When they decide to do the next auto cli ... and only if they decide to have you be apart of it.

I'm going on 3 yrs at $200. DW got a CLI her first month from $200 to $500, but that was 3 yrs ago as well with no changes since.
I started with $200 CL when I opened them years ago (probably 2002-2003) then sometime in 2008 - they upgraded me to Visa and increase my CL to $1k then 6 months they auto increase me to $5k then another 6 months I got an increase to $7k. I was thinking they will give another increase but it did not happened; I'm happy with my CL I use the card at least once a month.
