Ahhh! Come on!!!
I'm going on 3 yrs this year and I have to show for it is $200! I'm happy for you guys, but grrrrrrrr! ![]()
I've PIF. I've left a balance. I paid a balance over several months. I used it multiple times monthly. I've left a $0 balance for months on end. If it weren't for bad luck with this card, I wouldn't have any luck at all. ![]()

Same here. I actually use my Target card a lot and still no increase. I never carry a balance because of the high APR.
Going on 6 years here with a 200 limit. i have a sore of 743! Crazy!
How do you guys get such low limits with target? Are you applying for the credit card or the store card. I applied at the store and got a $3000 limit just 3 months ago, credit scores all experian Plus credit score is 690.

I think everyone is referring to the store card. You have the credit card, right?

This is an artcicle that I found on the internet regarding target. They are offereing a 5 percent discount on all debit and target cards beggining in the fall.
I was lucky enough to receive the increase to $1000 when they did the 1st round 1 1/2 ago. It looks like the above blog may "prove" Target store cards are set up to be low limit. The writer noted, "...You’ll also can hurt your score if you use more than 20 percent or so of the card’s credit limit, which averages $600 to $700."
WOW!, just checked and received a CLI from $1000 to $2000. It took me like 14 years to go from $200 to $1000 and now it took seven months to double that.
Target is the first unsecured card I have gotten during my rebuilding (in May). I was asked at checkout so I gave it a shot and was approved instantly for $1000, I was quite suprised.

No I got the store card. I just applied at the register when I was checking out.
I haven't used my Target card for several months -- after reading this thread I checked and my store card limit was increased from $300 to $1000.
