Target Card (Not Visa) surprise CLI

I guess just in time for Christmas shopping..they raised me from 500 - 1000 sometime between the end of my billing cycle on the 28th and today. I started at 200 last year. Then I got a 300 bump to 500 about the same time that other people here were getting their increases..now 500 - 1000. Nice! So everyone else should keep an eye out for an increase as well.

Congrats! They decreased my limit to $500 from $1500, and gave it to you.

Dang! Why did they CLD you..do ya know? I was content with 500 actually..I don't shop there that much and I doubt there is anything there I would buy that would cost more than that anyway..

OMG--I just logged into my Target account after reading this and the cl says 1000.00. It has been at 500.00 since June 2008. Weird thing is that the available credit says 469.00--I have a balance of 31.00 on there right now that I have not paid yet. Maybe it has not updated yet?? I am really hoping with the holidays coming up that more of these companies will auto-increase. I am very happy.

OMG, well what do you know, exactly same as above post, while reading this thread i logged into my target account and my limit is increased from 200 to 1000!!!! i can't believe it, although i'm a "heavy user" of this card sometimes i had to pay in the middle of the month to get the limit back for more purchasing, my card was opened in Feb 2009.

Alos, my available credit says 169 with a 31 balance, i guess its not updated yet.

WOW! This post sparked my interest, so I logged onto my account, and I'm increased from $200 to $1000 as well!!! YAY! No more paying in the middle of the month for me! I'm so excited!

This sounds just like last holiday season when it seemed like everyone (but me) was getting their Target cli's increased. I am glad to be one of the lucky ones this year.

More than likely for lack of usage. I've had the card since 10/2000. It started as a store card, and converted to a Visa.

omg! mine too! i thought for sure i was getting left out again! woo hoo!!!!

p.s. just checked my new york & company card, they gave me a small cli too! hooray! what a great day!
