Applied for Target Red Card online (although they check you for VISA first). I know I won't qualify for the VISA. Anyway, I got a message saying that my application required further processing and that I would receive a letter within 14 days. I am in the middle of protesting some of the medical collections because a few of them have been paid and a few of them should have been included in a double blind research study that I am participating in. I'm hoping that is why I got the further processing message, but I don't know. My credit scores aren't great; but they aren't as bad as some others whom I've seen approved on this site. My only baddies are medical collections to Multiple Sclerosis. Anyway, my scores are TU 616; EQ 626; and Exp 606. If you were me, what would you do? Would you call the backdoor number (if there is one listed) or would you just wait on the letter? Anyway, any help on this from any of you experts out there in Fico forum land would be appreciated. : ) Thanks!

I got a similar message when applying and had to verify identity and was approved.(I applied online)  I had several medical collections at the time.

You should be able to call the customer service number for them to ask about the status of your application.

I got the message, logged back in about 3 hours later under the check status and was approved.

I received the same message as well and was approved a few days later. You can always wait a couple of days and check status online, or call and find out. Good luck!

How do you log back in to find out if you were approved? It asks me whether I have a red card or a visa and wants the account number??? Thanks! (I'm confused.) lolol
