I got the scores from Amex "credit secure" so I have no idea how accurate they are. I don't know what report was pulled, nothing has shown up yet. Cheers.
Because Amex "Credit Secure" offers fako scores (they offer what's called a "plus" score), you may want to pull a free FICO score from this site. It's good to know the scores your lenders see, rather than the fakos made available to consumers. You can get a 10 day free trial of ScoreWatch, which will give you a true FICO score for Equifax. It comes with a pretty helpful analysis of your credit report as well. Just cancel within 10 days for the free trial - or keep it and get ongoing updates on your FICO Equifax score. IMO, it's good to have a handle on your true FICO - at least once in awhile - good to know where you really stand. And, hey! - it's free!
I find Scorewatch highly inaccurate by as much as 30 points too high usually.

lol, Scorewatch is your Equifax Beacon 5.0, aka EQ FICO, score.
To what are you comparing it?

My Scorewatch said 695, but then I was denied credit and it said it was 669.

How soon after you pulled SW were you told your score was 669? Could something have changed on your reports between the 2 pulls?
And do you remember the version of EQ that was pulled? EQ Beacon 5.0 is what is used by almost every lender right now as far as I know so it should have matched your SW score if both were pulled within a short amount of time.
One more question. The denial was for a credit card?
From a BK years ago to:
EX - 3/11 pulled by lender- 835, EQ - 2/11-816, TU - 2/11-782
"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they've made a difference. The Marines don't have that problem".
Looks like they pulled EX.
