The BankAmericard Visa? Input request.

Hello all. I just received a "prescreened" offer from BoA. I was about to tear it up because usually I get a 21 month 0% APR offer from BoA & this one was only 15 months...  but anyhow, I decided that I'd give it a read.

They are offering 15 months @ 0% APR, as already stated and $100 bucks cash back after only $500 spent in the first 90 days. No annual fee, and 15.24 (meh)% after the initial 15 months @ 0.

The card gets 1% cash back everywhere, 2% at grocery stores, and 3% on gas. Also another 10% on top of that (1.1, 2.2, 3.3% in total I assume) if you deposit your cash back bonus into a BoA savings account, which I'd be fine with starting.

This seems like a reasonably tempting offer to me, I just closed on my house, which sent my FICO scores jumping around 25 points / bureau, to ~800+ for the first time ever ( I'm wondering if that is responsible for this offer ) and have been considering going after another card or 2 now again. 

For every day type of expenses I already have the Discover IT card and the Amazon Visa. The 3% (3.3%) cash back on gas is appealing, since it is no longer in my rotating categories on my IT card I only get 2% on my Amazon card. 

Things I am wondering / questions I have:

How does this offer stack up to other, similar offers? Is there something similar but better I could app for?

Does something like Walmart qualify for the 2% on groceries?

I don't have a BoA account yet, are they decent with initial credit limit and do they do soft pull CLIs?

So I cant speak too much about BOA as I have just gotten back with them last year. They started me off with a 1.5k CL on the travel rewards card which I used here and there because that limit is a little low to used for travel. I read alot about BOA not giving auto CLI very often if any at all so I bit the bullet and took a HP on TU for a CLI which brought the card up to 5.4k where it sits now.

I plan to just sit on the CL for a bit to see how things pan out and see if I get any auto CLI but I wont hold my breath on that one. I do however now have a prequal in my account for a few cards that I am pondering about.

My BOA experience has been positive even when they held my old Hawaiian Airlines card in their portfolio.

That is something to think about...  it wouldn't use your prescreened offer though, but if you received that offer you would think you would be approved for the same card with a different sign up bonus, but who knows.  

Doubles the signup bonus to $200 for still only $500 spend...  I was thinking about applying for two of these on the same day for only the one HP, but then again - I should probably stop/slow down with my applications as I have sort of gone a little crazy recently.

I won't attempt to answer all of your questions, but ill give my input on some...Walmart typically does show up as a grocery store as it goes by mcc code, cli are almost always Hp if customer initiated, very rarely you'll already be "pre-selected" for a cli when you ask and then it is a sp, but you're more likely to get an auto cli than to have that occur. Otherwise boa is thought to be pretty generous with cli.
