After reading this I decided to call for a family member of mine.
They dropped his interest from 29.99% to 12.99%. We were in total shock! I then asked about possibly having some of the fees or interest credited back to the account, she said she will have to call back Monday afternoon after she reviews the account.
He has had the card since 1999. Never more than a couple days late, and has had an annual ($59) & reward fee ($29) every year since 1999!! She converted the account to A Freedom MasterCard w/o an annual fee . I hope this works!
