It was 25.99% From day one til the day I dropped them. Believe me, my overall credit health had improved tenfold during that time. They didn't care.
But...I'm not bashing them. As a starter card with my scores in the high 500's...I needed that card to start the move forward. It was worth every penny I paid in AF's & yes, interest too. They were the helping hand I needed at that time.
That's crazy. I believe Orchard is HSBC- I am STILL waiting for my Best Buy platinum MC but with the APR that was "offered" there is no way I would carry a balance (it is 17 point something + prime rate = WAY TOO HIGH (twenty something). I am wondering if it is just HSBC in general that is the reason these cards have such high APR's.

Very well put!
Sorry it took so long to reply. I am still learning the site and thought the reply would be in my in box. I got my ex fico from this site. The other two scores I got from creditkeeper.com. I belong to that one too. I heard about this one and decided to give it a whirl and I obviously like this site better so I am waiting for my time to run out. How do you know whether what you are getting is a FICO or FAKO?
In replying to the baddies, there were four months in a row with the last being in June 09. I had three other CC at the time that were paid on time, but I could not keep up with that CC because it went over the limit and could not pay it completely down. I made agreements with them and thought that would be ok until I saw my credit report.
Orchard is a part of HSBC and all their APRs are high.
I thought things out I'm not gonna close the card it's my lowest apr of any of my cards 8.9% My AF is due at the end of the year I'm going to try to see if i can get them to waive it if not i might close it.
You should be able to get them to waive it if your history with them is good. My two oldest cards are with Orchard and I have gotten them to waive the annual fee on both of them since I have been a customer for so long. Getting them to increase my CL is another story ....
my 2 orchard cards were my lowest APRs for a long time......only very recently did they go up. & they're still not really that high, considering. but i closed the lower CL card, because i got tired of paying the $6 every month for nothing, & didn't want to pay the AF coming up in june. all the cards i have gotten since that card have higher CLs, even if they aren't over $1000.
