Timing Question?

Re: Timing Question?

The strangest thing of all is that it seems to be happening to U-U regularly. That's why I suspected HSBC.

I know yours is a genuine Discover card!

Re: Timing Question?

Rest assured, CWCID...mine is a "real" one, too.

I would have most likely come to that same assumption, though (about it being HSBC).

Add to this that a high balance was missed one month, too...never reported at all!  But it reported the much smaller balance just after I had made a substantial payment.

I'm not concerned enough about how it reports to go making waves over it.

I do believe txjohn mentioned something in another thread about a mid-cycle reporting he experienced with Discover (I think).

Again, no biggie.  Just curious.

Re: Timing Question?

Several have reported occassional strange mid-cycle reporting on Discover, but it had to do with new cards and CLI's. Were I you I would call and question this reporting. Probably just some flag set wrong in their system. Just an idea you might want to try - change your due date (which can be done thru the website as an account option). That might just correct everything.

Re: Timing Question?

That is a great idea!  I will do that tonight.

Thank you!
