Applications for Toys R Us credit cards were turned off today in stores. You can still use them in store for the time being. There goes a nice $25k cushion in a few months.
Wow, you had a $25k TRU card? End of another era, I suppose. Kind of a shame they turned it off before the actual closing, depending on the offers it could have been a great way for someone to clean up on the closeout sales.

Wonder how long the 10% on Thursday will last for. Hope to snag a deal or two in the next few weeks.

Hello my neighbor, how is the new house in RI? That really sucks. The 10% is uncertain unfortunately. So get whatever you can now.
Maybe it's worth bringing Dunkin' to the store manager every day and asking for a heads-up on closeout sales and the 10% for cardholders?

Sadly, I work there....for the last 19 years. Sad to see it go.
Now that you've reminded me of it, I realized that I knew that from another past thread. Very sorry to hear that.

All is well here in RI!! Way too congested but I am getting used to it. Far cry from NH for sure! The 10% will probably be over within the next 30 days. I will be hunting the deals for sure!

I will move on...first job really. More sad that my kids won't have a real toy store to visit in the future.

It is very sad especially since you work there. Alot of people are blaming Amazon. But I think the prices at Toy R Us were too high.
P.S. Glad you are adjusting to RI. There is a famous blogger I follow that lives in Newport or something.(Classy Girls Wear Pearls). I think she and her husband are a bit much, but anyway she posts beautiful pics of Newport, towns in NH and Vermont. Very nice.
