Tried the BofA CLI button...

So I got the message that I needed to call them to continue and decided not to. Well, they called me a week later on my cell phone. My credit lines were reduced from about 50k total to 20k, with a balance of 20k a few months ago and that killed my Fico score. So I explained to the anaylyst why I wanted the credit line increase, and I was very worried that BofA was trying to close out my accounts (they closed my small buisness card 2 weeks prior for non-usuage). After 1000 questions, and 30 minutes later, she informed me that she couldn't extened me additional credit but that she assured me BofA was not looking to close my credit accounts and they considered me a good customer. She also told me to call back in a few months so the one 30 day late I have (2+ years old!) became a little older.

I;m planning on paying off my cards completly this week (just got approved for a consolidatoin loan with CU), I hope they dont close my cards :-(

Welcome to the forums!

I'm sorry this happened to you. This is happening to many of us here. BoA closed my 26.5K line of credit last year because I refused to use much of the line of credit and pay them a bunch of interest.

Close all of your accounts with BOA, you will be happier!

Find a god local bank!

Forget abot the loosers at BOA, they are trying to make your life miserable.

My local bank actually lowered my interest rate and raised my credit line without me asking!

Run away from them, they are showiing their true colors!

I agree! I think local banks and credit unions are far better these days.

I gave a response in another thread but since this appears to be a website issue call technical services not a credit analyst or a regular CSR. It is listed on your account page in the contact us section.
