Try & ask for a specific CL to consolidate balances.....

Citi is my oldest account.  I have a 12k CL and it will be one of the cards I pay in the 68k.  Since I opened the card in 2009, I only carried a balance for six months.  With that said they the 10 or so times I have asked for a CLI, I have been shot down due to my BK....

I remember an analyst in SD telling me they don't extend new cards or give CLI's until you bk is 7 years old.  my filing date is 7 years old now but my discharge date is not 7 years old until Sept....  My apr on my AA World master is low though, 10.29, but I have never had a bal transfer offer...

Maybe when my bk is 7 years old in Sept Citi will be nicer to me...

Then why not leave $11k on that and $19k on the Penfed? Carrying balances at about 10% for a few months doesn't sound bad, IMO. 

Especially since you KNOW Citi isn't going to do you any favors until September.
