You might have to go the secured route which I've been told is the most effective way to start out. B of A, Capital One and Discover all have secured cards and all have a pre qualifation site. All good suggestions mentioned. I'm.with checking the pre quals but also getting down utilization and still.working to fix the negatives. That is where you're going to have the beginning of a break through.
