Trying to get another good card but not sure what direction to go

I currently pay for myfico services.  Not sure if its important to disclose that.

I'll save you all the details of my credit history, but I'll say that I'm currently holding a Capital One Quicksilver Card (upgraded from regular Captial One Platinum Unsecured) with a 750 limit. They won't budge on that limit due to the 'credit steps' program. I have a Comenity Bank (charge) card for Goodys / Stage stores that keep giving me what seems like endless credit limit increases. (i'm at $1250 in a year, and thats just for 1 store).

I applied for a Blue Cash Everyday card, but was denied. I also sent in reconsideration (since they looked at experian, which is my lowest score at the time).  The notes said I didn't have a long enough credit history, and I think my student loans are hurting me (I ower $16k).

I am just looking to raise my credit score.  Thats all.  I don't need money in the form of credit cards, I just need to get up to the 700 level.

Current Scores: FICO8 TU: 663, FICO8 EQ: 653, FICO8 EX: 633.

Do you have derogs in your file?  Your scores seem a little low for just limited credit experience.  If you do have derogs, that's probably the reason why you're having difficult getting new cards and of course getting to 700+.

The more info you provide the better advice you'll get here.  If it's simply lack of credit experience that is keeping you from a higher score, then a common step is to get a secured card (possibly one that graduates), and work with that.  BofA has a good secured card that can turn into something better in 5-6 months.
