Re: US Bank CLI strategy?

And NRB's question on uti is a good one as it can affect approvals.

thanks. Yes. I replied to him above. Should have included the quote Smiley Happy

NBR525, I have 60% on 0apr until november.

I will be using cash to pay off another card at 38% util in march when that offer expires.

No other balances on cards and overall utilization is 18%.

Re: US Bank CLI strategy?

If it were me, I would enjoy the 0% APR offer, not rock the boat with a CLI. You are showing US Bank your payment ability now. As time passes, and you are making significant progress on this balance, it is possible you get an auto CLI.

This 60% utilization has some effect on your score, but it's not a huge number of points, and unless you have some planned mortgage app coming up, you should be just working with your new accounts for now anyway.

FICO score only matters if you are making an app.

US Bank, in my opinion, is a good bank for auto CLI, until you get to your maximum internal exposure. At this point your potential total CL with them is still growing.

Patience in all things credit, US Bank, AMEX, Chase.... etc...

Re: US Bank CLI strategy?

For the $1500 SP CLIs, does it work for business cards too?
