Emailed USAA yesterday to request a CLI from 3k to 10k. Hard pull of Eq required, but it showed them:
EQ: Plus score 709, 4 Inq, AAOA 4 yrs, oldest 8.5 yrs, CC Utilization 13%, negatives 1 - 30 days late on 1 account in 2007. 1 Mortgage, open, 5 installment accounts, 1 open, 4 paid. 9 revolvers, 7 open, 2 paid. No collections.
Received an email from USAA this morning, increase approved, see your account - Looks like they raised me from 3k to 6k. My highest line to date. Sweet.
I've had the card for a little over 6 months, used it regularly every month but not as my primary spending card, and never showed a balance over 1,000. Statement and actual balance was 0 at time of request.
Hope this info helps anyone else looking for a CLI. Bummer they require a HP, but it's EQ unlike most other cards.
Congrats! although it's not what you wanted but double what you have is not bad!
Bummer on the HP, but as Guava has said, double your CL is not bad.
Congratulations.

Thanks - it's getting there. I was hoping to break the 10k line on this one, but I'll be ok. I never come close to the limit anyway.
This is a card I would like to have.

Thanks RR...
Learnin- If you are a USAA member, keep an eye on the My Offers tab. From what I've been told it is pretty much guaranteed approval if they offer it to you. I was declined when I apped on my own, but a few months later found it on my offers tab and it was approved for 3k. My next highest CL at the time was 570, but having this card at 3k opened up doors for me at "real" banks.
