Hello Everyone.
I am trying to get my grace period back for USAA.
I just paid off my USAA card which had a balance of around $3600. I will outline the details to make it easier to follow.
1. Statement closed on Mar-11-20 with a balance of ~$3600, due date is Apr-05-20.
2. Apr-01-20 paid in full.
3. Then tried to pay $90 extra from the site for the residual interest Mar-12-20 -- Apr-01-20. Site will not take any payments.
4. Called USAA, tried to make an automated phone payment, will not take.
5. Talked to USAA representative and she told me her system will not take the payment.
6. I asked what my total payoff is, and she says because the system says $0, then it should be $0.
7. I asked the agent about residual interest, and she does not know anything about it. I asked about the grace and she does not know, but assumes that I paid in full, I will not be charged any interest.
Can anyone help me out here. I want to restart that grace on my next billing cycle. How to go about doing that?

From my own experiences (many) USAA finals the statement and calculates the interest remaining and places it on the statement for close. For many years they have always had trailing interest on my cards. Will add it has never been much but enough to eliminate AZEO.
Hello
Can you tell me what is AZEO. EDIT: I already Googled this. Thanks for the new term.
I just chatted with a USAA representative. She stated that if I don't make any purchases until the end of my billing cycle which is Apr-10 my statement will close with a $0 balance. I specifically asked if they will not charge residual interest from Mar-11 till today and she said that is correct.
I can tell you without read much in your content
one simple rule I always do. Wait for 1 month $0.00 statement OR $-x.xx (avoid interest accrue through out the month)
