USAA Multiple Cards

I see that many of you have multiple cards. I just got approved last week for the Mastercard. Would it cause any problems if I also apply for the Visa?

not at all...i have mastercard, amex and visa.  I do think they have a limit of 5 though!

I am a partial member.  Does anyone know if their AMEX is offered to partial members or only to full members.  I have tried two times in the past at least two months apart, and today out of curiosity, to apply online but get a message as soon as I hit the apply now button that their system is unable to process my request at this time, try again later.  If it is offered to partial members, it is something I just would need to appy for over the phone?

Hi Kim

You're not eligible. I had the same issue. You are only eligible for the platinum MasterCard and Visa since you're a partial member.

Not entirely true. I'm not a full member, and I was just approved for their Wounded Warrior Project AMEX card. Check all their affiliate cards, some others may be AMEX as well.

Holy crap, you're right. I just applied for the Wounded Warrior Amex and got approved with a 12000 limit. Damn, thanks for letting me know.
