So who knows what the nerfing plan is. But when it happens, I won't be using it. It's not just a 2% card, it's one with $25 increments and a FTF!
Fortunately, most recurring uses of mine are linked to Paypal Key, so I will just change which card that points to.
ETA: I love "Notes of Interest". Yes, you are nerfing, that's pretty interesting.
@Kforce , what does your statement show? I think we were approved at the same time.
Maybe they are giving 3% for one year only.
I probably still would have applied anyways but I would have maxed my spend on this card instead of spreading it around like I did my Alliance 3% for the first year.
Looks like a sock drawer card from Feb on... My Alliant 2% card gets my hulu subscription only....
But that's better than my AARP card which gets a .50 monthly Amazon charge.
Might be time to close some cards and sub par savings accounts...
Still waiting for the 3% MC Unicorn that's not geo restricted...
Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention... I did not look at my statement that close...

You still have AOD (for now), I never applied! Of course, if AOD survives, it might be worth some federal agency (such as DEA!) looking into how....Laundering money via 3% rewards, nah, probably not. But something LTL Bank needs to consider!
AOD is a better card from the get go anyways (if one does not care about rewards). Here is to hoping it lasts.
I need to figure out what the minimum I can leave in the savings to keep the card active or do I even need a savings account.
That crappy Note of Interest was not on my November statement btw... you would think they would send an email and not just have a tiny blurb at the bottom of the statement.
Maybe worth closing it and reapplying if even for a year of 3%...

I have hard copy statements, USPS (first week each month), should get it early next week.
Last statement has nothing.
Will report as soon as I get it.
If this is true I will probably close and move on.
I'm thinking about closing my USAlliance card and account once the 2% rewards kick in. I already have the Citi Double Cash and the PPMC. Both are better than the nerfed USAlliance in my opinion. One fewer card to manage. I'm planning on getting just above a multiple of $25 in rewards on the USAlliance as of my next statement.
Just checked my statement. I can confirm I have the same notice on my latest e-statement dated December 28th. This is heart breaking. Didn't even last an year...
Is the AOD still approving out-of-staters by their biking hobbies? Cos if hey are, I might jump in a few months

Yes, if you don't need the credit line, PPMC is better in every way, and Double Cash also has some advantages over the $25 increments (higher FTF though). The only worthwhile feature of the USAlliance card was the 3%
I am thinking about applying for the Us Alliance CU 3% cash back card. Does anyone know if this credit card can be used to fund bank accounts without it being charged as a cash advanced? Will you earn cash back?
