I have a few Comenity cards that are Visa/MC and a Ulta store credit card. In January we were traveling and purchased shampoo in a trail sized bottle. The total was $2.94. I charged it and later noticed a "small balance adjustment" and they didn't generate a statement. I had no other activity. The account summary showed a $0.00 balance with my full credit line available.
Earlier this month, I made a $3.49 purchase and the same thing happened. I'll attach screen shots.
I appreciate the generosity of Ulta and Comenity and I'm not sure if it costs more to cycle a statement (I chose the paperless option) for a few dollars or just write it off. I've read in the Terms and Conditions for the calculation of a minimum payment that if the New Balance is less than $1.00 they won't require a minimum payment. I can't remember where I've read that but it seems like something BECU would say.
Has anyone else noticed this? To be clear, I didn't dispute these small transactions.

Thank you for sharing! I never knew this
Doctor of Credit states that Capital One will forgive $1. However, I recently was charged a $1 statement balance. I'd guess that they forgive balances under $1, i.e. balances of $0.99 and below.
These small balance adjustments are the reason for recommending a balance of at least $5 on an AZEO card. That should be enough to save the bother of knowing which bank does what.
