Ulta MC Pre Approved In Person At Register

Hi yall, 

so I don't shop at Ulta much, but there is a scrubber they have that I really like and it keeps my skin clear...

it costs like $10. lol

so I'm checking out and then I get skipped in line. I say something about me being skipped and of course bc I'm a "cis wm" I get skipped and talked to down to, so then finally when I am checking out with Miss Sassy Pants, it pops up on the screen that I'm "pre approved for the Ulta MC"

I thought the shopping cart trick didn't work any more? but maybe it works in person and not online? I declined it because I don't like Ulta much and I read that even with the gen purpose cards, you get baby limits. I did recently open a Saks WEMC and the Bread Rewards (but comenity doesn't even have a solidified application departmetn so I cant even get them to tell me the final determined limit on either card)

anyone had good experiences with this card? I just really dont shop there much, and if I'm not getting a 3k+ limit or higher to start off with, I'm not interested.

its funny though, I bet that Cashier will think twice the next time she lets someone skip in line and then back talks. I hit "no thanks"
