My understanding is that after 25k spend per year you get 10k bonus miles. Do those 10k miles count towards your united status?

No, different miles

No. no miles earned using the card will count towards your Premier status on United.

Nope. Those are regular RDMs. As I'm sure you know, the only incentive to do the spending requirement is for the PQD waiver.
