Has anyone noticed an uptick in fraud on the paypal mc.
I have had 3 instances in the past week alone.
Just had to call and get a new card number.
Is it a chip card? If so, check where you're swiping it where it doesn't reaad the chip. Maybe you're using it at a gas station or someplace where credit card hackers have been ripping card numbers?
Also check to see if you're using it somewhere regularly where someone takes the card away to swipe, like a restaurant.
You really should have been given the new card after the first fraudlent charge. If it happens once, it's going to happen again.

Yeah, I don't understand that one at all. Whether it was decision made by you and/or Paypal that was bad decision to keep it active. No sense in having any more of a headache than necessary.
Same thing has happened on my moms card and then a month after we noticed it, a letter came from Rite Aid saying they were hacked. I wasn't convinced that was the only link. I think there's more to it like internal issues security wise. Knock on wood it has not happened on my card....yet...But they keep saying an upgraded card is on the way.
