1) How in the world do you redeem this free night? I cant seem to find any option.
2) It says the reward expires on 10/20. I will need it for the night of 11/26 (Thanksgiving here in the states) - Is this the expiration date to use, or the expiration date for booking?
3) If that is the last date it can be used, do you think there is ANY way I can call / get a nearly 1-month extension to use it? If it helps at all, I have the Ritz card, and thus have gold status.

1. You check the box on marriott.com that says "Use Marriott Rewards" or "Use Reward Points." If your stay is LONGER than the 1 night, you'll need to use the option that says "Points and cash" though I would recommend booking on the phone, then you can get an AAA rate on the nights you pay cash for.
2. Call up marriott rewards and ask them to extend the expiration, they will. They extend 6 months at a time, sometimes a few times.
