Using Ritz Card Club Level Upgrades

Im planning to book a stay at a Ritz in So Cal. Do you use the club level upgrade when you check in or do you have to mention it when making your reservation?

I dont remember receiveing any physical certificates for the club level upgrades with the card.

the certificates is in your Marriott/Ritz account, you can book the room first,and then call the reservation line to use the certificate. Or you can call them and ask them to book for you,mention the upgrade b4hand

You'll need to call them to have them applied.

FYI the room rates are generally higher then what you'll see online. Pick the dates you're planning on staying with them and then enter code "Z34" under Corporate/promotional code. That will give you the rate you need to pay to use the certs.

I recently booked a week at the Kapalua property and the club upgrade was $100 more a night.
