I have a verizion CO on my CR.. Does this also count toward my overall utilization? Should I just pay this off?

I don't believe that verizon is considered revolving credit therefore would not count towards your util.  Might want to wait for a few more responsed though.

What type of verizon account is this? When did you first default on this?

It's a house phone bill that I have know idea why it's there. I still have their service at home. It was CO'd on 1/2006.

This account will not effect your util% calculations but it's still killing your scores. Ok, so Verizon is reporting this and you are not sure if this debt is yours? Which CRA is it on?

Just called verizon and they stated that this was sent to a collection agency sometime ago. However, nothing has shown on my report as a collection.
