I just came accross this thread. I have had my Venture for about 90 days with a SL of $15k. I though what the he$$, I'll give it a try. I was instantly approved for $10k to give me a total limit of $25k!
How strange though. I got this card after having an old Cap One card for 15 years that's one of my oldest cards The card stayed at $750 until last year when I finally got a $1k increase which I was shocked to get. I wrote the FO to see why my card was stuck at such a low level when I had cards with $10k limits. I tried to upgrade to at least a QS. They turned it down the upgrade because I just received the $1k increase. So I applied for the Venture and low and behold they gave me $15k SL on a new card but couldn't raise the other one 1300 to qualify for a QS and my scores were all high 700's
