WAMU Credit Limit Increase

Any WAMU card holders know when they offer the first CLI?  Also, how much do they normall increase?

Yeah, after the first 6 months, they have given me $1-2K credit increases every three months. My CL is triple what is was two years ago, when I opened the card, it has gone from $4k to $12k with no request on my part.

WAMU seems to definitely deliver on their promise to give a CLI without request. $1-2K CLIs every 3 months after the first 6 months is quite decent. Definitely makes your easier to keep your util for this card at 1-10% even as your spending increases. Mind telling what your typical util on this card during this 2 year period was? This should further shed some light on WAMU's rationale for such generous CLIs. In the very least, it should prove that they're just crazy. :-) I also want to know if you've ever had to disclose OR prove your income to WAMU.

Does anyone know of any other companies that are similarly generous with automatic CLIs? I already know about Amex, though.

Glad I'm not the only one who has had a great experience with WaMu so far.  In the first year my CL was 4xs the original amount.  Unfortunately I don't know of another card that is not a strictly prime lennder that gives such great auto CLIs. Maybe someone will come along shortly with an answer.

What other lenders (prime or subprime) do you know of that give automatic CLIs? Is Wamu considered sub-prime? Aren't they big enough? Which ones are considered prime then? I know of BOA, Chase, Citi, but that's about it. Who else out there is big?

WaMu is not subprime but its not Uber-prime like Amex

How is it so easy for everyone else.
WAMU must hate me or something.
I just checked and I've had the card for 4 years.
Not once have I been given an increase.
Probably going to close the card.
