Re: WAMU PFICO score not updating?

When the balance posted, SW alerted me of a whopping 3-point drop.  It dropped more a few weeks later when a card that was previously reported $0 reported $160.

That's to be expected.  I wouldn't worry about that PFICO though.  It is useless!

Re: WAMU PFICO score not updating?

Mine was updated this morning.

As well, I had an update last month. I did skip a month awhile back--not sure why.

I went up 17 points! Woo hoo!  Or, boo hoo, since I am learnign that it isn't a real FICO.

WHy is it that they can use the word "Fico", tradmark symbol and all, if it is a fake score?  Mind boggling.

WOW! EQ when I joined myFICO: 657. Ups and downs and a few bumps and bruises, but finally back over 700. Whew!

Re: WAMU PFICO score not updating?

Lisa, it's a post-dated FICO score. Hence the "p". Who uses a post-dated FICO score for credit granting purposes?

Re: WAMU PFICO score not updating?

Come on! We all know the "P" stands for PROVIDIAN and that the PFICO score is a true FICO score. We have been through this a million times. Would you say that auto enhanced FICO scores are not "real" FICO scores? Of course not. PFICO = a bankcard enhanced FICO score and it is a real FICO score. Really!

You may consider it PFUNKY, but it is real and it is free! For now...

"We" haven't been through anything because I wasn't talking to you!

Providian, provide, proof -- WHATEVER.  It is a post-dated FICO score.  Didn't I say that already?  No one is granting credit based on that score.  It's all hype.

It's back-dated PBOGUS.  I have my opinions.  It'll do you well to not try to change them as I do NOT need to agree with you!  Really!

Re: WAMU PFICO score not updating?

I think we should post a "Hall of Fame" thread where we exhibit all of Uniqua's previous posts on the topic of PFICO. I ROFL just thinking about it.

I think we should post a "hall of fame" thread for the comments of those who seem to think they have the answer for EVERYTHING, yet they know NOTHING. What do you think? I'm hollering just thinking about it.

Re: WAMU PFICO score not updating?

Once you run the report that produces the score all FICO scores are post-dated. Some are just a little more post-dated that others. It would be nice if WaMu/Providian could come across with it a little faster and I'm not sure why they can't. But they don't. So much for wishful thinking. But it is free. At least for a little while longer for those who will be fortunate enough to have their accounts picked up by Chase. (Which, as I have stated here before most likely won't be everybody. Those who aren't picked up may have it available a lot longer!)
